Making Time

So it's storytime!!

Normal Speech>> Hyper-Mega-Super-Speech

Winter quarter, my junior year, I was taking more classes than the doctor prescribed, includingBiochem 200. This class had lecture five days a week and class was 15 minutes away. So, naturally, I started missing class and I didn't have to pay any price until the final exam as that was the only mark for the entire course.

The lectures were archived onstreaming video and I was banking on watching them later. But there were only so many hours in a day and way too many lectures...what was I to do?

I learned how tospeed up lectures!! I watched themtwice as fast as the original, the result? I was able to learn all the material in time for the final exam.

Am Icrazy? No sir. Apparently this type of thing has been proven to not such a bad idea. The speed of speech isn't limited by the listener, but rather by the speaker. Don't believe me?Read the article! :-)

Special mention to the most efficient lecturer ever,Dr. Julie Theriot, I couldn't speed her up past 1.7X :-)
