Slow week
hah! a slow week...maybe for this site, but not for me. it's been a busy one for sure.
Thing's I've brought to show-and-tell today…I've decided to include a classic Penny Arcade comment with each post, if you become impatient check out thePenny Arcade Greats page.
I finished anotheraudio book,The Universe in a Nutshell by Stephen Hawking. Cool stuff read by a British Author (my favorite kind). The literal translation of aBlack Hole to French is risque...keep that in mind if you're ever talking science in French.
Speaking ofaudio books I learned how to more efficiently hunt down audio books at my public library. I no longer fear running out of audio books :-) Though I'm 8th on the list forThe Davinci Code so might have to be patient for good stuff.
This week, I also rejected my first audio book,Gunslinger by Stephen King. It was stupid. For anyone who has ever been aghast at how little I read, you should be proud that not only do I read, but I have some kind of taste too!
I really want an iPod...they're specially designed for audiobooks in that you can place bookmarks in an mp3 file. That way you can get back to the right spot later. However for now, I'll keep my $300 and just cut up my audio books into smaller pieces :-P
Other news,RDub, myself and possibly others plan to become famous in the near future. If you likebioinformatics and would like to participate in the devlopement of next generation tools pleasecontact us!
