Karmacy
Sorry, no new posts lately...I kept thinking my next post would finish off my trip to the east side. However, I've since had two subsequent trips so I've given up on finishing anything in the order in which I started… (does that even make sense?)
This post is aboutKarmacy
After about a billion years,
they havefinally released their album entitled:The Movement
These south asian kids weave littls bits of the motherland into their lyrics:
...twisted like jalebi...
and lots of fun plays on words:
...while you're strugglin' with metaphors, I'm masterin' meta-fives...
They've performed all over the country and do their stuff in a number of languages.
Needless to say, I haven't been this excited about a band sinceThe School of Ruckus
(not to be confused with Karmacy'srecord label)
