The Flash vs. The Washer
VS.
Saturday night, I wanted to make sure I had enough memory for my camera, so I brought out all the guns...meaning I brought all my memory cards. I decided a good place for my extra card was in my cargo pockets...and as you may have predicted, I forgot about them and the pants went into the washer the next day.
When I realized my folly, I ran to the washer only to find the compact flash card sitting at the bottom, still in it's little case.
I set it out to dry and began praying.
Later in the afternoon, I put it in the reader and low and behold, it was recognized!! I had to format it, but it works now.Hooray!
It's not everyday we can find a way to thwart the monstrosly diabolical plans of The Washer, aka The Eater and Washer of Things...we must be thankful.
Not sure if the card is reliable though...I guess we'll find out soon.
