The Male Intellect
Earlier this week, we went to see a play (gasp!)! Relax, it was closer to stand-up comedy than a play, but it was a play...I'm cultured dag nab it! :-P
The play was calledThe Male Intellect: an oxymoron?
and was produced and acted out by oneBobby Dubac:
The show itself is asuperentertaining trip through the psyche of a 'typical' male on his way to understanding women.
Throughout the play, Bobby acts out the different male personalities that have influenced and shaped his attitudes throughout his life.
There's the Al Bundy-like Colonel, the suave French guy, a cross between the Fonz and Jack Nicholson, an old guy, and a charming street thug.
It's pretty classic material, but damn does he make it funny. In any case, go see it, you'll die laughing, and you might even learning something (men and women). Speaking of which, compared to 'Men are from Mars, Women are from Venus', this is definitely the better guide to this whole man/woman thing.
