I tried

I tried to come up with an April fool's post, but it just didn't happen. If I can carry out one medium sized fool, I'll be a happy camper.

In other news, I finally posted pictures of the TGen Dedication. Hotshot speakers showed up for the event to help capture what TGen will mean for research and for Phoenix in general. I tried to capture a part of each of their speechesin the captions. (Also, I must apologize to the IE users because they can't see the pictures. I broke Malbumscript for IE and I'm stil fixing it ...)

The ceremony took place in front of the building, which meant they shut down 5th street to setup chairs and booths. Among the various vendors and groups out there was Affymetrix. They were handing out chocolate versions of their genechips, most tasty. The city was also showcasing plans for a new bioscience-focussed highschool. Heh, concentrating geeks into one high school, that's gonna be interesting :-P
