All the way down
All the way down
This isn't something that I've done, at least not yet. The last glass bottom floor on which I stood was an impressive and vertigo-inducing 1,122 ft from the ground. However, this little project plans to quadruple the peril by building a glass floor that juts out from one of the walls of the Grand Canyon. This would put roughly four times the distance between me and the ground, held aloft by a transparent material made from sand. Extreme.
The tree-hugger in me has concerns, but my shutter-happy inner child is leaping with anticipation!
