Snow White

The latest winds had me sail up to the slopes of Heavenly Valley around Lake Tahoe!

This was the first time I had been on the slopes when the sun was out and I still cannot believe how bright it was. The snow itself was just astoundingly pure white and its radiance just filled the air with a sense of clarity, crispness, and cleanliness. It was definitely a feeling that made you just want to stop and stare and possibly hug a tree :-P

I also snowboarded for the first time in four years and the third time ever. Got a few pointers at the beginning of the day that really helped :-) Come nighttime, we celebrated a birthday, nursed our battle wounds, and danced the night away. Good friends, good times, good weather, all in all, made for a great weekend!
