Tipped off by a member of the Temple of Poi, we discovered a stunning display of fire dancing in the middle of Union Square!
I've seen the stuff before but never with many dancers doing choreographed routines. Some of us sat right behind the stage and eventually, right on the stage. From our vantage point we could really see how much fun the dancers were having. Heh, we could also see them nonchalantly brush fire from their hair; which rekindled doubts in my mind about their general sanity. Some of the dancers were extrodinarly graceful and the use of a hard-to-describe floating wand device added much to the mystique. They closed the show with an intense fight scene that pretty much looked straight out of Soul Calibur ... just stunning!.
