In Case There Was Any Question

In case there was any question about my overall geekiness, please consider that I can no longer claim, "I've never been to a Star Trek convention." In fact, I had the opportunity to attend the 40th anniversary convention. Sure, I spent my time manning a booth for work; sure I didn't get to hear anybody talk; sure all my favorite actors had come and gone. But I did get to see tons of people dressed up as their favorite aliens. And I did get to meet actors that played characters such as Admiral Ross, Sulu, and Mr. Homn. Barry mentioned that after he had filmed and episode, he found out that one his speeches on the show was actually an excerpt from General MacArthur's speech after a WWII battle.

All in all, I enjoyed myself :-)
