For the impatient: Pictures

This just in: More news from Miami ... actually, the story is a month old, but still, it's news here.

Towards the end of the wedding adventure that I will eventually describe, we stopped at Parrot Jungle Island, it's like SeaWorld but for the jungle. Naming it after the parrots is a bit misleading. Here's the breakdown:

  • Birds: saw one that can run 35mph and swallow an apple whole. It can most likely kill you.
  • Cats: saw a Liger, yes you read that right, Dynamite certified Liger. The thing was huge. It can most likely kill you.
  • Monkeys: saw the cutest little baby monkeys. Their cuteness can most likely kill you
