Part car, part ... car

Part car, part ... car

I didn't write during the month of April; I assure you this was not by design. What have I been up to? Big things :-)

But today, we're talking about my wheels - the Honda Civic Hybrid :-) I've had it for almost a year now, and driving it over 8,000 miles. What do I think? Overall, I like it :-) I've learned to driver quite differently and I enjoy its creature comforts.

If you don't count the first of my 15 tanks of gas, my M.P.G. on a tank ranged from 49 to 53; and as you can see, I'm currently averaging 50mpg. I admit, I don't drive my car as much as try to glide along the road, coasting as much as possible. I'm sure I annoy some people, but I do my best to stay out of the way.

As for creature comforts, I enjoy the 4Gb of music and the Aux input as well as the auto-climate control.

In the world of maintainence, the car lets me know when it's time for an oil change. I just took it in last weekend at 8,000 miles.

Love from the government? You bet! The feds gave me back over two grand and the great state of Arizona decided all of us hybriders can drive in the carpool lane!

It's a keeper, so what's next? I actually think I'll try to find it a new grill :-P
