Age of Spiritual Machines

Whoa nelly! I thought I was optimistic about the spreading of ubiquitous computing in the lives of everybody on the face of the earth. This guy not only says it'll happen a few years faster than I had predicted, but that relatively immediately after that, we'll all just upload our souls into shapeshifting bodies made from nanobotic computers! If he's write, there are going to be many, many, many people that are not going to go willingly :-P Best paraphrase: 'the next generation computers will have spiritual experiences, that they will tell us about, and we'll believe them', lol. I love it! (Warning the reader of this book will creep you out) (Also, please note that the paperback does not come with its own reader)
