Around the World in 80 Days

At first I didn't think much of his adventure, but then something clicked around the time he left europe and I really started enjoying the book. The style in which he relates his story is very simple, almost incomplete; yet it pains exactly enough of a picture for you to fill in the rest with our imagination. I particularly love how he is struck by the differences in society and culture. His shout out to the desis also awards him bonus points. Will I ever get a chance to do something like this? Maybe, but anybody I take with me will have to read this book as preparation.
