Baby On Board

For the impatient: Pictures

Shivani's Pictures

It's time to report that fun times were had in Chicago! Headquarters were right on the Magnificent Mile so we had lots to do when we weren't showering the mothe of the baby girl on the way. Just the stroll from Buckingham Fountain to Millenium Park had us see the Star Spangled Ballerinia, the bean and a larger than life statue of Wood's famous painting, American Gothic.

We ended up in the Signature Room of Hancock Tower for some late night dessert to continue the reuniting. You really can't go wrong talking about crime rates and running from bees ... I guess you had to be there.

The shower itself involved fun games, notably blind taste-testing of baby food, blind putting-a-diaper-on-an-upside-down-teddy-bear, and the price is right. I might have to find me a bottle of baby macaroni and cheese. Congrats to Milan and Reshma, it was a great shower!

We also spent a decent time running around the burbs hanging out with old friends in their new lives. Fun times, indeed!
