Dirk Gently - Holistic Detective Agency

I'm not sure I can be trusted to objectively describe the merit of Douglas Adams's work anymore. Clearly I have become a fan. You may note this to be short for fanatic. In any case, this book has the normal gamut of characters (normal to insane) involved in an adventure that defies belief, logic and all probabilities. Between that and the fact that it's written in that matter of fact style that is so Britishly funny, you can't go wrong with it. This is the story of ghots, aliens, time travel and how they all combined almost destroy earth! I can't wait to read the second part...
