My first book on law and man was it interesting. It shows how corporations are trying their best to create a monopoly on intellectual property to maximize their profits. Their aims, which make sense from their perspective, are killing off innovation in a big way. The good news is that there is a system that could make everybody happy, if only the politicians would stand up and make it happen. Go Stanford Law Prof! It also explains why Google should continue its book search project. The book was read by volunteers who made use of the fact that hte book is licensed under the creative commons in a way that allows derivative works! It just proves Lessig's system works!!
