I'm a Stranger Here Myself

AmazonBetween sillyly complaining about necessary things (long serial numbers), he complains about not silly things (such as the amount of energy used by appliances that aren't doing anything or the arm-a-toddler campaign). And between praising silly things (such as garbage disposals), he praises not so silly things (such as the generally un-bitter american mindset). He's pretty good at exaggeration and I particularly like his rental car bit, that's a video idea for sure. He's pretty good at exagerating the complexity of things that might seems confusing; not sure how much I like that because it leads to and attitude that is built on glamorizing ignorance and incompetency. In any case, I'm so very glad he wrote "Short History" because now he knows all about the things that in this book, he professed to know nothing about.
