Neuromancer

Apparently this book is some sort of mother of modern sci-fi, but unfortunately I did not enjoy it. I'm not sure if it was the writing style or the awful reader, but I was very close to putting it down. On the upside, it was cool to see where many of the ideas, like the Matrix and super aritificial intelligences, may have first become popular.
