For the impatient: Pictures

On the way back from India, I had a halt in Kuala Lumpur ... so what did I do? Hopped in a cab and took in some sights. Mostly the Petronas Tower.

Apparently the 'second' story bridges between the two towers (not the bridge half way up) and harbors a mall that is pretty much fully Western. Not having brough my camera, I bought a disposable, at an exorbitant price, and took a few snaps. Upon my return, I tried to stitch together panoramics, but the perspective effects really messed with the stiching software. When I tried to build a smooth panoramic by hand, I ended up with something a bit more compelling. I forget what this 'technique' is called, but sometimes it works really well!
