Rafting Down The Colorado
For the impatient: Pictures
Rafting down the Colorado River was the denouement of our road trip to Utah. Class 3/4 rapids were no match ... ok, a little bit of a match for our little band of rafters. The rapid known as Sock-it-to-'em proved its worth but our visit to the Room of Doom was uneventful. I'm fairly certain everybody's favorite moment was being pulled out of the river by their life jackets and laying on the raft's floor. It was then that we realized why we had come on this trip, to learn what's it like to be a beached whale. Now that, my friend, is a catharsis.
