Reading and Writing in your Dreams

Last night I dreamt one of my elaborate dreams that played out much like a good Saturday morning cartoon. It's been a while, but I enjoy this. The neat thing about this one is that I was very intent on writing things down. However, when I would go to read what I had just written it would like scribbles. It was perplexing in the dream and when I woke up I almost dismissed it.

But then, I remembered an episode of Batman the Animated Series from 1992! Bruce Wayne is forced to dream a dream in which he is not the Batman. The only way he realizes that he is dreaming is because he can no longer read.

Naturally, I turned to the internet and found this discussion. Not only am I not the only person who can't read in his dreams, but I'm also not the only person who recalled that episode of Batman.

Conclusion? I don't know. I just thought it was a neat feeling being perplexed :-)
