Rock+the+Mic+Fest

For the impatient: Pictures

On Monday the 28th of July 2003, we had a few guests in town....

• Fabolous
• Sean Paul
• Busta Rhymes
• 50 Cent
• Jay Z - Not to be confused withJigar-man, who got us a couple of prime tickets.

We hosted them at America West Arena, and in return, they decided to gives us a little show, they called it the "Rock the Mic Fest". Incidentally, this was my first real concert!

Almost got my camera taken away a couple times....and you'll see that I was only able to hold the camera perfectly still for a couple shots. But what can you do when you're doing a little dancey-dance ?

In any case, we were in the 11th row and it was a rockin show.

Busta Rhymes was definitely my favorite though special guestBeyonce was an awesome surprise!!

Got somevideo of the affair, but the bass in the arean killed the audio:-/ However, they weren't using any bass for Jay-Z's freestyling! Here'sone andtwo.
