Starship Titanic

I believe I have a made grave mistake by reading this book. I was under the impression that it was written by Douglas Adams; however, it turns out that Adams wrote a video game called Starship Titanic and that this "Terry Jones" simply novelized it. I mean, it's a fun story, but somehow I think I should have played the video game first. Hopefully I will forget all of the plot points of the story before I get around to playing the game.
