Thief of Time

AmazonPratchett got me again. While this one was promised, to me, by the Internet, to be funny. I can't say I laughed a lot, and the story was a little slow, but it's still way better than most stories of fiction. This time (ha-ha), Time was the subject of study. His ficitonal theory says Time is managed by a bunch of monks kind of like one might imagine a global power grid would try to load balance power demand. I think I like Pratchett books because his imaginations of standard sci-fi/fantasy themes are actually different. That is, new, not improved.
